Emergency Road Closure

All temporary emergency and proposed road closures are subject to Section 75 of Roads Act 1993 and Article 12 of Roads Regulation 1994

Notice is hereby given that Cavan County Council has made an order to close to public traffic, the roads described hereunder from Monday 22nd July 2024 to Friday 26th July 2024 and again from Monday 29th July 2024 to Wednesday 31st July 2024, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm each day for the purposes of resurfacing works.

Roads closed:

L-5515-0 from a location in the townland of Raheelan 2 km north of its junction with the L-55151-0 northwards to its junction with the L-55156-0 in the townland of Foalies.
L-55156-0 from its junction with the L-5515-0 in the townland of Foalies northwards to its northern extent in the townland of Derryvony.

Local traffic in the area will be accommodated as far as practicable.
