The focus of the corporate plan is to build on what has been achieved in the past and continue to deliver a modern customer focused service in the future.

The primary aim of the plan is to make Cavan a better place to live, work, invest, socialise and above all participate in.

The main objectives of the corporate plan are as follows:

  • Achievement of sustainable growth.
  • To develop and enhance local democracy.
  • Promote a positive image of Cavan.
  • Delivery an effective management of services to the people of Cavan.
  • Grow the competence and capacity of Cavan County Council.
