Emergency Road Closure - L1513 Farnham NS
Temporary Closing of Roads pursuant to Section 75 of Roads Act 1993 and Article 12 of Road Regulations 1994
Notice is hereby given that Cavan County Council intends to close to public traffic, the roads described hereunder from 8pm Monday 31st March 2025 to 8am Monday 28th April 2025 (inclusive of Weekends) for the purpose of footpath construction and accommodation works on the L1513 in the vicinity of the entrance to Farnham National School.
Roads Closed:
- Local road L1513 referred to as Loreto Road in the townland of Drumelis from the entrance to Farnham National School to the roundabout at the intersection with the L1514. There will be no through road access in either direction along this stretch of the L1513.
Alternative Route:
- Diversion routes will be setup on the L1512, the R198, the L15133 and the L1514 as shown on the map below to accommodate the L1513 Road Closure at Farnham National School. Access to Farnham National School will still be provided via the diversion route for this 4-week period as shown on the map below.
Local traffic in the area will be accommodated as far as possible but there will no through road at the townland of Drumelis.
