Temporary Road Closure: N54 Tullybuck

All temporary emergency and proposed road closures are subject to Section 75 of Roads Act 1993 and Article 12 of Roads Regulation 1994.

Notice is hereby given that Cavan County Council has made an order to close to public traffic the roads described hereunder between the hours of 8am on Monday, 15 July and 5pm on Saturday, 27 July 2024 to facilitate essential pavement repair works and road resurfacing.

Road to be closed

National Secondary Road N54 between the Townlands of Tullybuck and Corrarod for the purpose of essential pavement repair works and road resurfacing.

Alternative Route

Traffic travelling north on the N54 from the N3 junction with the N54 Butlersbridge will be diverted northwest onto the N3 to the Belturbet Roundabout and diverted onto the R197 to the Gannon’s Cross junction with the N54.
Traffic travelling south on the N54 will be diverted onto the R197 at Gannon’s Cross junction towards Belturbet Roundabout and diverted south onto the N3 towards Butlersbridge.

Local traffic in the area will be accommodated as far as possible.
