Temporary Road Closure - N16

Temporary Closing of Roads pursuant to Section 75 of Roads Act 1993 and Article 12 of Road Regulations 1994

Notice is hereby given that Leitrim County Council has made an order to close to public traffic the roads/areas described hereunder on Monday 11th November and Tuesday 12th November 2024 from 09:15 to 16:30 for the purpose of facilitating the N16 Manorhamilton to Cornacloy Phase 2 pavement overlay scheme.

Road Closed:

N16 – Carrigeengeare (td), Munakill (td), Kilmakerill (td) and Cornacloy (td)

Alternative Route:

Diversions will be in place for all traffic travelling between Sligo - Enniskillen. This will incorporate the N15, N3 and A46. This is the only recommended route for HGV traffic.

Diversions will be in place for local traffic via regional roads R281 and R283.

All diversions will be sign posted and variable message signs boards will be in place.
