Temporary Road Closure - L-2534-0 (Town Hall Street, Cavan)

Temporary Closing of Roads pursuant to Section 75 of Roads Act 1993 and Article 12 of Road Regulations 1994

Notice is hereby given that Cavan County Council has made an order to close to public traffic the road described hereunder from 6pm on Friday, 6 December to 12 noon on Monday, 9 December 2024, for the purposes of accommodating the Cavan Christmas Cottage Market.

Road to be closed:

The L-2534-0 (Town Hall Street, Cavan) linking the R-212-3 (Farnham Street, Cavan) and the R-901-0 (Main Street, Cavan).

Alternative route:

R-212-3 (Farnham Street) to R-901-0 (Church Street and Main Street) to rejoin at junction of L-2534-0 (Town Hall Street) and R-901-0 (Main Street).

Access for local residents will be provided where practicable.
