Have your say: A new sport and physical activity plan for Cavan
Cavan County Council is leading an initiative to co-design a new local sports plan focused on improving levels of participation in sport, physical activity, and recreation in Cavan.
This five year plan, which is a local authority-led action from the National Sports Policy, will map sports, activity and infrastructure development within Cavan for the next five years. It is important that everyone gets involved and encourages groups, individuals, and partners that they work with to take part and have their say by either attending an 'in person' workshop or filling out the online survey. Once developed, the plan will focus on areas such as:
- outdoor spaces
- community activities
- accessibility
- infrastructure and capital building
- recreation
- sports participation
- active transport
- playgrounds and amenities
Online survey
To help us develop the strategy, we are asking people living across Cavan to complete this short survey. Completion of the survey will enable entry into a draw for a €100 One4all Voucher. The closing date for completion of the online survey is 29th March 2024.
