Emergency Road Closure – R198 Pound St., Arvagh

Notice is hereby given that Cavan County Council intends to close to public traffic, the road described hereunder,on Thursday 10th and Friday 11th October for the purpose of emergency road works.

Road proposed to be closed:

R198(Pound St., Arvagh)from its junction with the R203 (Main St.,Arvagh) to the junction with the L6535 (Longford St., Arvagh).

Alternative Route(s):

Divert via the R203 (Main St.) to the junction with the L6637, via the L6637 (Broad Road) to the junction with the L6535 and via the L6535 (Longford St.) to the junction with the R198.

The same diversion route will apply in reverse.

Diversions will be signposted for the duration of the works.

Local access only will be accommodated as far as practicable.
