Emergency Road Closure: R194 Ballyjamesduff to Killyfassey

Temporary Closing of Roads pursuant to Section 75 of Roads Act 1993 and Article 12 of Road Regulations 1994

Notice is hereby given that Cavan County Council has made an order to close to public traffic the roads described hereunder between the hours of 8am on Thursday 7th November to Friday, 8th November at 6pm to facilitate burst watermain repair and road reinstatement. This road will be closed for a duration of 2 days within the closure period.

Road closed:

R194 Ballyjamesduff to Killyfassey.

Alternative route:

Traffic coming from Granard/Mount Nugent should be diverted by Kilnaleck via the R154 and Crosserlough to Ballyjamesduff.
Traffic from Ballyjamesduff should be diverted by Mountnugent back to Killyfassey Junction.
Local traffic in the area will be accommodated as far as possible either side of Finaway Cross area.
