Emergency Road Closure – L6573 Drumnalaragh

Temporary closing of Roads pursuant to Section 75 of Roads Act 1993 and Article 12 of Roads Regulations 1994

Notice is hereby given that Cavan County Council intends to close to public traffic, the road described hereunder, from Monday 16th to Friday 27th September for the purpose of emergency road works.

Road proposed to be closed:

L6573 Carrickabane to Aghaconny from its junction with the L6570 (Carrickabane) to the junction with the L6569 (Aghaconny).

Alternative Route(s):

Divert via the L6570 to the junction with the R154, via the R154 to the junction with the L6569 and via the L6569 to the junction with the L6573.

The same diversion route will apply in reverse.

Diversions will be signposted for the duration of the works.

Local access only will be accommodated as far as practicable.
