Emergency Road Closure – L6542 Arvagh

Notice is hereby given that Cavan County Council intends to close to public traffic, the road described hereunder, on Friday 18th October and from Monday 21st to Tuesday 22nd October between the hours 8.00am – 6.00pm for the purpose of emergency road surfacing works.

Road proposed to be closed:

L6542 Arvagh to Farrangarve from its junction with the R198 (Arvagh) to the junction with the R198 (Farrangarve).

Alternative Route(s):

Divert via the R198 in Arvagh to the junction with the L6542 at Farrangarve.

The same diversion route will apply in reverse.

Diversions will be signposted for the duration of the works.

Local access only will be accommodated as far as practicable.
