Emergency Road Closure – L3009 Cross to Gates of Mullagh

Temporary closing of Roads pursuant to Section 75 of Roads Act 1993 and Article 12 of Roads Regulations 1994

Notice is hereby given that Cavan County Council intends to close to public traffic, the road described hereunder, on Monday 30th September for the purpose of emergency road works.

Road proposed to be closed:

L3009 Cross from its junction with the L7039 and L7040 at Crossreagh to the junction with the R194 at the Gates of Mullagh Cross Roads.

Alternative Route(s):

Divert via the L7040 to the junction with the R194 at Cloghergoole Cross Roads, via the R194 to the junction with the L3009 (Gates of Mullagh).

The same diversion route will apply in reverse.

Diversions will be signposted for the duration of the works.

Local access only will be accommodated as far as practicable.
