Emergency Road Closure - L-6154 New Line Road Cootehill

All temporary emergency and proposed road closures are subject to Section 75 of Roads Act 1993 and Article 12 of Roads Regulation 1994

Notice is hereby given that Cavan County Council has made an order to close to public traffic the roads described hereunder from 6am on Tuesday, 29 October to 6pm on Friday 1 November 2024 for the purpose of Road Resurfacing & Footpath construction Works outside St. Michaels National School on the R190 in Cootehill Town.

Roads Closed:

Local Secondary Road L-6154 New Line Road in Cootehill Town, between the Junction with the R190 and the junction with the L-2033 Church Street.

There will be no through road access from the R190 to L-6154 and vice versa, however access for local residents will be provided from the L-2033 Church Street side ONLY. (Emergency services will be accommodated).

Alternative Route:

Traffic will be diverted via the R190 and L-2033 Church Street. All diversions will be signposted.
