Cuilcagh Boardwalk Trail Temporary closure for essential maintenance

Cuilcagh Boardwalk Trail and Cavan Burren Park, located within Cuilcagh Lakelands UNESCO Global Geopark, will close to the public on Tuesday 19 March and Wednesday 20 March, reopening to walkers on Thursday 21 March. Essential maintenance works will be on-going on the Boardwalk from Thursday 21 March to Friday 29 March, subject to weather conditions. Please adhere to all on-site safety signage during this time.

Members of the public are asked to please adhere to all on-site safety signage during this time. The Geopark apologises for any inconvenience. All other sites within Cuilcagh Lakelands UNESCO Global Geopark remain open during this time.

Cuilcagh Lakelands UNESCO Global Geopark, located in Counties Fermanagh and Cavan, contains some of the finest landscapes on the island of Ireland.

There are more than 50 sites in the Cuilcagh Lakelands UNESCO Global Geopark which are open all year round and free of charge to explore.
