'How to nurture wellbeing through and beyond a cancer diagnosis' talk
Cavan County Library Service and Healthy Ireland At Your Library present a free talk with Professor Anne-Marie O'Dwyer on 'How to nurture your well-being through and beyond a cancer diagnosis' on 16th April at 6pm at Johnston Central Library Cavan.
This event will be an insightful discussion on ways to prioritise self-care and mental health following a cancer diagnosis.
Professor O'Dwyer is the author of a new book 'The Cancer Guide' on this topic and she will share valuable tips and strategies to improve overall well-being during and after treatment. She practices as a Clinical Professor at the Department of Psychiatry, Trinity College Dublin and is an Honorary Consultant Psychiatrist for the Psychological Medicine Service at St James’s Hospital, Dublin.
