Christmas Market is coming to Town Hall Street

Cavan’s Christmas festivities will kick off on Saturday, 3rd and Sunday, 4th December with the Cavan Christmas Cottage Market, a free outdoor event which promises to be packed full of Cavan's festive cheer and culture!

Over 50 street vendors selling artisan food, craft, and art will take over Town Hall Street, showcasing their exceptional talent and skills. Seasonal music and colourful entertainment will be provided by a host of Cavan musicians and the market’s outdoor seating area will create the perfect opportunity for locals and visitors to experience the culture and community spirit that exists in our county. The market’s Children’s Christmas Experience will delight with a visit to Santa's Reindeer Headquarters on Town Hall Street (booking required), while an Elf Scavenger Hunt is sure to get everyone in the Christmas spirit.

Cavan Community Gardaí and the county’s Little Blue Heroes will also be on hand to switch on Cavan Town’s Christmas lights on Saturday and Cavan Rugby Choir will close out the market on the Sunday with a stirring performance.
