Tenders are invited from Undertakers for the conveyance of deceased persons from Cavan Morgue to Navan Morgue for post mortem examination.

The number of conveyances annually ranges between forty and sixty.
The Tenders sought are for the period 1 March 2019 to 28 February 2021.
The Tender submitted will be based on one conveyance, must be a fixed price, and inclusive of all relevant costs. It is a condition of acceptance that the successful undertaker will at all times co-operate and work in conjunction with An Garda Síochána.
It will also be a condition for the acceptance of a tender with a value of €10,000 (inclusive of VAT), or more, in any 12 month period that a valid Tax Clearance Certificate from the Revenue Commissioners will be required.
Cavan County Council is subject to the provision of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act. If you consider that any information supplied by you is either commercially sensitive or confidential in nature, this should be highlighted and the reasons for its sensitivity specified. In such cases, the relevant material will, in response to an FOI request, be examined in light of exemptions provided for in the FOI Act.
Sealed Tenders endorsed “Tenders for Undertaker Services” should be addressed to the Director of Services, Corporate Affairs, Cavan County Council, Johnston Central Library, Farnham Street, Cavan, not later than 4pm on Monday, 18 February 2019.
Tenderers should note that any tender which is not delivered by the date and time specified above will not be considered by Cavan County Council.
The lowest or any Tender will not necessarily be accepted.
