Voices of the Troubles features on 'Morning Ireland'

Cavan County Library Service's PEACE IV funded oral history project, 'Voices of the Troubles' was featured on RTÉ Radio One 'Morning Ireland' on Tuesday, 6 November

'Voices of the Troubles' features 85 interviews with people from both sides of the community from Counties Cavan and Fermanagh who were directly affected by the violence of 'The Troubles' between 1968 and 1998.

The interviews were carried out in Belturbet, Enniskillen, and Ballyjamesduff by Maurice and Jane O'Keeffe of Irish Life and Lore, on behalf of Cavan County Library Service.

'Voices of the Troubles' will be officially launched on 29 November, and the archive will be available to listen to at Cavan County Library Service branches.

This project is supported by the PEACE IV programme, managed by the Special EU Programmes Body.
